Ryan Ferguson: 'I need to build my life back'

Ryan Ferguson said on 'CBS This Morning' Wenesday that he need to 'build my life back' after spending nearly 10 years behind bars for a murder he says he didn't commit.

Ferguson was released from custody Tuesday night. His release came after Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster announced Tuesday that his office will not retry Ferguson, 29.

In an interview with his father , Bill Ferguson, Ryan Ferguson said on 'CTM” that his emotions haven't caught up with him since his release. “ It's amazing”, he said “ You know , its quite early in the morning , I haven't really had the opportunity to experience the day yet, but I know as it unfolds there will be new adventures , and it will be incredible, so definitely looking forward to getting into the day.”

Raider, 'Renaissance Man' Todd Christensen dead at 57

Jim Plunkett knew Todd Christensen as a fun guy who loved catching passes , especially in the end zone and sometimes on plays in which he was supposed to be blocking.

Chistensen's former broadcast partners fondly recall his big personality , too and the fancy words he used with ease.

Christensen , 57 a five-time Pro Bowl tight end with the Oakland/Los Angeles/during his NFL career (1978-1988), died Wednesday at a hospital near his home in Alpine, Utah, from complications during liver transplant surgery.

It appears that El Tri will be making an appearance in Brazil after all. Miguel Herrera's all domestic Mexican national team played their best game of 2013 at the Estadio Azteca downing New Zealand 5-1.

Mexico may have a mess all of 2013. needing help from the United States just to finish fourth in the Hex and qualify for the Worth Cup playoff against New Zealand, but all is well with El Tri.

Francis Bacon painting auctioned for more than $142 million

A painting by artist Francis Bacon sold for $142, 405,000 on Tuesday , breaking the record as the most expensive piece of art ever auctioned , according to a statement from the auction house.

“Three Studies of Lucian Freud” was sold after six minutes of bidding in the room and on the phone at Christie's in New York City according to spokeswoman Elizabeth Van Bergeb.

Painted in 1969 , it is known as one of Bacon's most iconic works, as it features Lucian Freud and the apex of his relationship with Bacon, According to the auction house's statement.

Pat LaFontaine , Ted Nolan return to Sabres

The Buffalo Sabres on Wdnesday shook up the front office following a franchise-worst 4-15-1 start to the NHL season, firing general manager Dancy Regier and head coach Ron Rolston while welcoming back former star centre Pat Lafontaine and coach Ted Nolan.

LaFontaine , a commentator on New York Rangers broadcasts with Madison Square Network from 2010 until recently , was named the Sabre's president of hocky operations.

Nolan, who was named the NHL's coach of the year in 1997 following his only season guiding the Sabres, is back on an interim basis. He went on to coach the New York Islanders and has been the bench boss of the Latvian national team since 2011 a role he'll continue into the 2014 Sochi Olympics in February.
