New Couple Alert! Henry Cavill Reportedly Dating Kaley Cuoco

Is Superman still single? Apparently not.

E!News has learned that Henry Cavill is dating sitcom darling KaleyCuoco.

The blond actress seemed to have hinted at the budding romance in a recent post on her Twitter account.

Cuoco shared a pic of her sitting next to a movie poster for Manof Steel and wrote, "Everyone go see "man of steel". It's fantastic in every single way."

She posed with her mouth open, gazing at the hunky heartthrob in the adorable photo.

The TV star most recently split with musician Bret Bollinger and had previously dated her costar Johnny Galecki.

She and Galecki had kept their two-year romance (and engagement) under wraps throughout the entire relationship.

Cuoco opened up to CBSWatch! Magazine about the relationship shortly after the split, saying, "It was such a huge part of my life and no one knew about it."

"It was a wonderful relationship but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together."

Cuoco revealed that their concern for privacy may have contributed to their eventual split.

"We were so protective of ourselves and the show and didn't want anything to ruin that. But that also made it sad, too. That's not the kind of relationship I want—I don't want to be hiding."

Cavill was also on the single scene after splitting with girlfriend Gina Carano earlier this year.

Cavill and Carano made their red carpet debut in January at the Critic'sChoice Movie Awards, just months after it was announced that he had ended his long-term engagement toEllen Whitaker.

Cavillis easily one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors after landing the coveted role of Superman.

The hunky Brit was recently seen in a NationalGuard advertisement, showing off his grueling shirtless workout for the super hero saga.

The film reached over $21 million in its box office debut, making it easily one of the most-watched films of the summer.

What a good-looking (and successful) new couple!

Brazil beat Spain to win Confederations Cup

Brazil has humbled world and European Champions Spain with a crushing 3-0 win in the Confederations Cup final, ending their opponents' three-year record run of 29 unbeaten competitive matches. 

Two goals from Fred, one either side of a stunning left-foot shot from Neymar, gave next year's World Cup hosts their fifth straight win in the competition as they clinched the trophy for a third time in a row.

Spain endured a miserable night with SergioRamos missing a penalty early in the second half and GerardPique being sent off for a lunge on his new Barcelona team mate Neymar after 68 minutes.

Fred put Brazil ahead after two minutes, Neymar added a majestic second just before halftime and the crowd erupted again when Fred made it 3-0 two minutes after the re-start with his fifth goal of the competition.

TheMaracana crowd taunted Spain and chanted "the giant is back" as Brazil overpowered Vicente del Bosque's team whose last competitive defeat was against Switzerland at the 2010 World Cup.

Earlier protesters and police clashed outside Rio de Janeiro's Maracana stadium, only minutes before the kick-off of the final.

Some 5,000 people sang and danced to samba music as they marched towards the stadium, before being blocked by a police security cordon on Sunday.

More than 11,000 police and troops were mobilised to ensure security for 78,000 fans at the Maracana arena as the curtain falls on a tournament hit by the unprecedented social unrest, with more than 1.5 million Brazilians taking to the streets nationwide over the past two weeks.

Canucks' Top Pick: Centre Bo Horvat can't wait to get here 'and show them they picked a good one'

The farming community of Rodney, Ont. has 1,000 residents and 80 of them were present Sunday to see one of their own play a role in a stunning 2013 NHL draft development.

When the Vancouver Canucks traded Cory Schneider to the New Jersey Devils in return for the 9th overall selection, it turned into London Knights centre Bo Horvat and it turned the spotlight on what general manager Mike Gillis was able to get — or not get — in moving his anointed starter and retaining the immovable Roberto Luongo. The buzz even caught Horvat off guard.

"It was shocking sitting there and it's really humbling they traded a guy that high for me," said Horvat. "It's overwhelming and I had no idea about it — it was all a shock to me."

It wasn't shocking that Horvat was on the Canucks' radar all season. The two-way centre was named most valuable player of the OHL playoffs with 16 goals and 23 points in 21 games and his ability to rise to the occasion for the back-to-back league champions wasn't lost on the Canucks. They need to map out their future down the middle and landing a centre who can handle the heat of playing for a top junior program and eventually the heat of a hockey-mad Vancouver market resonated with them.

"It's been a crazy and long past two years," said the 6-foot, 206 pound Horvat, who had 33 goals and 61 points in 67 games this season. "I've been really fortunate to be on great teams and the pressure of going up against top players, you know what it takes to get to next level and I have a leg up. 

"I watched the Canucks quite a bit on television and I could be a huge help to them and hopefully be what they need. I'm more excited than anything else. I can't wait to get there and show them they picked a good one at No.9. Pressure situations don't bother me one bit."

That's good because nothing has polarized the Vancouver hockey populace than Schneider and Luongo. As much as they got along, the conversation about the two goalies often centred on who should play when and for how long. When the Schneider trade was completed late Saturday night, the Sunday announcement hopefully made Horvat more than the answer to a trivia question.

"We got some centres which has been a source of need for us and we've watched him play numerous times," said Canucks assistant general manager Laurence Gilman. "He's the type of player we envision the Canucks being about — captain material and a big-game player. We didn't think there would be a player of that calibre at No. 24. And the board was looking different than we planned, so we're happy we got him."

If Horvat lives up to the hype, the rage over whether the Canucks got enough for Schneider will diminish. There was more than passing interest from Edmonton and the Oilers had the No. 7 pick. But whether they were willing to surrender a top prospect or roster player — or the Canucks pushed for such — was like a tennis-match rumour. It went back and forth. Could they have got more?

"I wouldn't necessarily say that's true," said Gilman. "You ask for assets and we had a lot of interest in Cory and spoke to multiple teams and asked different teams for different pieces. At the end of the day, we felt this one was the best for us. We ran this gauntlet with both goaltenders and knew it was a situation that couldn't continue and it's fair to say, the trade partners knew we had to make a deal. Whether we could have gotten something else had we dealt with it at another time, we didn't."

OnceHorvat was done dealing with Schneider trade questions, he could reveal how this all came to be. His grandparents had farm land in the Rodney area and he skated outdoors and then made a mess of the basement in his parents home.

"A couple of ponds would freeze over and we always skated there and it was a lot of fun," recalled Horvat. "I would play mini-sticks with my brother (Cal) growing up and my dad (Tim) built a shooting gallery downstairs with arena boards."

A fan of Mike Richards growing up, Horvat said he would stay in the game in some capacity if playing professionally doesn't work out. That's hard to imagine.

Blackhawks resign Bryan Bickell , trade Dave Bolland

When the Chicago Blackhawks quickly announced the trades of Dave Bolland and Michael Frolik during Sunday's draft, it became clear what was coming next.

TheBlackhawks soon after announced that they had reached terms on a four-year contract with winger Bryan Bickell. He'll average $4 million a year.

"I feel like Chicago is a second home," Bickell told chicagoblackhawks.com

Bolland had scored the Stanley Cup-clinching for the Blackhawks less than a week ago in Game 6 against the Boston Bruins. It came 17 seconds after Bickell had tied the game with a little more than a minute left.

Bickell, who would have been one of the top players available had he gone to free agency on Friday, had taken a step forward this postseason with a big playoffs. Move into the top six, he scored nine goals, tied with Patrick Kane for team best, and 17 points, ranked fifth overall.

"Don't forget that he played well in the regular season as well," general manager Stan Bowman said.

With a big bump in pay from $600,000 this past season, Bickell knows he'll be under pressure to produce.

"I feel like I can bring that every night," he said. "I know what it takes now and what they want and hopefully, I can just bring it."

Bowman also made the trades with an eye on some of the organization's youngsters, such as Brandon Pirri.

"I have to create some room for them to play," he said.

Bolland, a Toronto native, was dealt to the Maple Leafs and Frolik went to the Winnipeg Jets, both for draft picks.

Bolland had been one of the eight holdovers from the 2010 Stanley Cup team that was dismantled because of salary cap concerns.

"It's unfortunate," said Bickell, who played on that 2010 team, but not enough to get his name on the Cup. "I've know (Bolland) for a long time. He's been a big part of these Cup runs that we've had."

NBA Draft 2013: Cavaliers select Anthony Benneth with No. 1 pick

Here’s a quick look at the players selected in the first round of Thursday’s NBADraft in New York.

This will also be NBA Commissioner David Stern’s last time at the podium on draft day. Stern will retire in February after 30 years on the job.

No. 1 -- Cleveland Cavaliers -- Anthony Bennett, 6-7, 239, Nevada Las Vegas, power forward

Bennett may be the best pure athlete of the draft, based on his explosiveness, speed and physique. He may be undersized for an NBA power forward but he counters that with his versatility. He can post up, shoot the three and take defenders off the dribble, providing a matchup problem for almost any team. The Canadian international made an immediate impact at Nevada Las Vegas in his freshman year, averaging 16.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.

Ben Bolch comment: Surprise, surprise! Even for someone who played collegiately in the land of prop bets, Bennett going first was the longshot of longshots.

No. 2 -- Orlando Magic -- Victor Oladipo, 6-4, 213, Indiana, shooting guard

Oladipo is considered one of the more NBA ready guards based on his impressive defensive prowess. But the biggest area where Oladipo has improved is his shooting. With the Hoosiers, the 21-year-old junior shot 60% from the field (44% from three-point range) and averaged 13.6 points and 2.2 steals. Maybe Oladipo isn’t a great shot creator or playmaker, but he could make an instant impact of the defensive side of the floor for any team.

Bolch comment: Picking Oladipo could be a sign that the Magic are aggressively shopping Arron Afflalo, who could end up with Clippers.

No. 3 -- Washington Wizards -- Otto Porter Jr., 6-9, 198, Georgetown, small forward

Porter has immense raw talent, but he still is considered one of the most draft-ready players with his versatility. He turned heads with his improvement in his sophomore year at Georgetown, as he won the Big East player-of-the-year honors. The 20-year-old averaged 16.2 points and 7.5 rebounds and was held to single-digit scoring only three times. His slender physique needs some added muscle, and scouts have raised concerns over his athleticism. But Porter makes up for these shortcomings with court awareness and a high basketball IQ.

Bolch comment: The former Georgetown star has the added bonus of knowing the few spots to get cell phone reception inside the Verizon Center.

No. 4 -- Charlotte Bobcats -- Cody Zeller,7-0, 230, Indiana, power forward/center

Zeller’s draft stock might have taken a hit by returning for his sophomore season, but he made steady improvements while in Bloomington. Zeller averaged 16.5 points and 8.1 rebounds, including 10 double-doubles. Scouts say that Zeller does many things well, but does not excel in any one area. He needs to get stronger in the post and on defense. But the second-team All-American has great court awareness and versatility that can spread the floor.

Bolch comment: Athletic big man becomes the third Zeller brother in the NBA and the second Hoosier to go in the top four of this year’s draft.

No. 5 -- Phoenix Suns -- Alex Len, 7-1, 250, Maryland, center

Experts consider the Ukrainian big man as one of the more raw players in the draft pool, having just turned 20 years old and still filling into his huge frame. In his second season with the Terrapins, Len averaged 11.9 points and 7.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks a game, including a 20-point, eight-rebound season-ending performance against North Carolina. A stress fracture in his ankle has kept the pick-and-roll specialist out for the last month, limiting his workouts and activity.

Bolch comment: The 7-foot-1 center from Maryland was the highest-drafted Terrapin since Steve Francis went No. 2 in 1999.

No. 6 -- New Orleans Pelicans -- Nerlens Noel, 6-11, 206, Kentucky,power forward

Noel arguably has the highest upside of any player in this draft. A pure shot-blocker and impressive leaper, he has the size, timing and talent to be a top-tier NBA big man — if he stays healthy. His offensive game is relatively raw: he averaged 10.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.4 blocks in 24 games before tearing his left ACL in February. Noel said he expects to be able to play in a game by Christmas.

Bolchcomment: Consolation prize: Noel may not have been the first player taken but he’ll go down as the first Pelican ever drafted and traded!

No. 7 -- Sacramento Kings -- Ben McLemore, 6-5, 189, Kansas,shooting guard

NBA teams see a lot of potential in McLemore, especially as a spot-up shooter and lockdown defender. McLemore can get out and run with the best of them in transition and has the athleticism that scouts drool over. In his only year with the Jayhawks, McLemore shot 42% on three-pointers and averaged 15.9 points a game, underlined by a 36-point outburst against West Virginia on March 2. His offensive repertoire and ballhandling could use some work, but the key word with McLemore is upside.

Bolchcomment: Kings hoping they got lucky that the player with perhaps the biggest upside in the draft fell to them in this slot.

No. 8 -- Detroit Pistons -- KentaviousCaldwell-Pope, 6-6, 204, Georgia,shooting guard

Caldwell-Pope enters as one of the draft’s best pure scorers, utilizing a consistent jump shot and a reliable offensive instinct. At Georgia last season, he averaged 18.5 points per game and led the team in rebounding. No opponent was able to hold Caldwell-Pope to single-digit scoring in a breakthrough 2012-13 season that ended with Southeastern Conference player of the year honors. The only major knock on the Greenville, Ga., native is his lack of defensive prowess and consistency.

Bolchcomment: The prolific shooting guard may need to shoot 100% to lift the Pistons out of mediocrity.

Edmonton Oilers pick defenceman Darnell Nurse: 7th overall in draft

The Edmonton Oilers have selected defenceman Darnell Nurse with the seventh pick in the NHL draft.

Nurse joins a blue-line that includes Justin Schultz and a young team that includes first-rounders Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Taylor Hall, NailYakupov and Jordan Eberle.

Nurse was the second defenceman drafted, behind Seth Jones, who went fourth overall to the Nashville Predators. Nurse had 12 goals and 29 assists this past season for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyounds of the OntarioHockey League.

He is the son of former CFL wide receiver Richard Nurse and nephew of former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb.

2013 NHL Draft: Canadiens select Michael McCarron with No. 25 pick

With the No. 25 pick of the 2013 NHL Draft, the MontrealCanadiens select right wing Michael McCarron from the U.S. National Team DevelopmentalProgram.

McCarron, a Macomb, Mich. native who will be attending Western Michigan University this fall, played the full regular season with the USNTDP in Ann Arbor, and also participated in the Four Nations Under-18 tourney. He will be participating in the U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp this August in Lake Placid, N.Y. That could put him in contention to play on Team USA at the World Junior Championships.

The right winger is ranked No. 31 by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau among North American skaters. He's ranked No. 23 by ISS among all skaters, and the service projects him to be a player comparable to former Philadelphia Flyer John LeClair.
