- Wash the makeup off your face every night before going to sleep. As you grow older, the pores on your face enlarge and makeup can get stuck in them, which can cause wrinkles. You should also cleanse your face twice daily and follow with a moisturizer to keep your skin soft..
- Drink plenty of water. The human body requires 8 glasses of water daily to keep itself hydrated. The more moisture your body holds, the healthier and softer your skin will be. When you don't drink enough water, your skin can become dry. This makes it easier for wrinkles to surface.
- Stop smoking cigarettes. When a person smokes, her mouth purses when inhaling. This action can cause wrinkles all by itself. Combine it with cigarette smoke, which depletes the oxygen in your skin, and you have a bigger chance of wrinkles. Limiting your alcohol intake will also help in preventing wrinkles.
- Wear sunblock whenever you go outside. The sun is a major culprit in causing wrinkles and damaging skin by harming fibrous proteins that help to keep skin firm and strong. Wearing long sleeves and hats will help to prevent wrinkles and keep any you already have from progressing. You should also stay away from tanning beds.
- Eat healthy food. Foods like beans; green, leafy vegetables; oily fish; spinach; berries; almonds; citrus fruits, and apricots are rich in vitamins A, E and C, Omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants.
- Get 20 to 30 minutes of exercise every day to improve circulation, which is good for your organs. Skin is the biggest organ of the body and benefits the most from exercising. You also need to get plenty of sleep each night; that's when your skin repairs itself. Try sleeping on your back so your face isn't pressed into the pillows, which can also cause wrinkles.

Corbin Bernsen: I’d rather talk about God than Lindsay Lohan
Bernsen: I have a tech project on the side called Powsumer. I had this vision where say 50 people want a TV at this price and what we do is bring the seller to that group of people. I have a production company called Home Theater Films which makes faith based films.
Bernsen: That’s not where I put myself. I consider myself a Christian. It’s the kind of thing I struggle with. I have faith, I believe in God… All I know is I march to my own drummer these days. I stay true to myself and there’s a lot of people who want faith in their lives and I’m more about that. I would like to bring them into the discussion.I am certainly on a journey of discussion. We’re have a conversation about it and in these days where there’s so much in the world that’s not working and somehow we’ve used faith and religion as a glue for society, something that’s made things work, not drive things apart, I feel there’s a need to celebrate that for the good of what it is. It gets so much bad press. There’s an assumption if you have any faith you vote a certain way or you’re a conservative and that’s not true. There are very cool, relevant people who have faith in their lives and people who want to have faith who are afraid to enter the conversation. That’s all I care about, entering the conversation. I have four sons who are basically growing up in a world where basically they don’t believe… that’s not good either. So I’m not saying you have to believe in God or Christ, just come into the conversation for a bit…I find it far more interesting than say, talking about Lindsay Lohan.
Bernsen: For a while, you’re starting to make me feel like a has-been! Actually “L.A. Law” has been a bit of a blessing and a curse. First of all it was a very prestigious show that had a lot of intellect and I was the pretty boy. I’ve had to battle that my whole career, “Oh you were the face guy. You didn’t really have to act, you just had to wear the right suits.” I had to battle that.
Bernsen: It’s been 25 years this November. Friendship absolutely, first and foremost. All the other stuff like sex, it comes and goes in waves. After two or three years the honeymoon is over. The thing that keeps you going when things relax a bit is the friendship. When you celebrate that friendship that’s when it reignites the passion. I don’t have a bunch of mates. I don’t have a man cave. My wife and I, we are each other’s best friend.I’m very fortunate that I have a gorgeous wife that I’m still completely attracted to and love to get naked with at every possible moment.
Bernsen: She loves it. We have this unique beautiful thing.
Bernsen: I put it down. Mind you I tried to get a urinal in our bathroom when we built our house.
Bernsen: I think it would be great for the middle of the night piss. I don’t know why more people don’t do that.

Law and Politics: Obama’s new Gitmo problem
By the time President Barack Obama took office, the prison camps had established communal confinement in a prison called Camp 6 that was more in the spirit of the Geneva Conventions, with … TV, books and, for well-behaved captives, wristwatches…But [there have been] mounting tensions at the camp… following a particularly aggressive cell search held Feb. 6.
…Lawyers for the captives said a wide-ranging hunger strike was underway, and some described seeing long-held, once plump prisoners wasting away before their eyes. The strike, they said, was sparked by what the captives considered abusive searches of their Qurans … fueled by years of frustration at their status of legal limbo.
Brownies Recipe
Softbutter, for greasing the pan
Flour,for dusting the buttered pan
4 large eggs
1 cup sugar, sifted
1cup brown sugar, sifted
8 ounces melted butter
11/4 cups cocoa, sifted
2teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Butter and flour an 8-inch square pan.
In a mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, beat the eggs at medium speed until fluffy and light yellow. Add both sugars. Add remaining ingredients, and mix to combine.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured 8-inch square pan and bake for 45 minutes. Check for doneness with the tried-and-true toothpick method: a toothpick inserted into the center of the pan should come out clean. When it's done, remove to a rack to cool. Resist the temptation to cut into it until it's mostly cool.
