New Study shows closest Earth-like planet may be 13 light years away

Astronomers reported that the closest Earth-like planet may just 13 light years away. That planet hasn't found yet but it should be there based on the team's study. Based on the team study of red dwarf stars. Small cool red dwarf are the most common stars in the galaxy numbering 75 billion.

HSC(Hardvard-SmithsonianCenter) for Astrophysics team estimates 6 percent of red dwarf stars have earth-like planets. To qualify , the planet must be roughly the size of Earth and get as much light from its star as Earth does from the sun.

This high rate of occurrence should simplify the search for extraterrestrial life.

Who's the star to beat in Dancing With the Star Season 16??

Dancing with the Stars' starts lat march 18 st ABC channel. The batch includes athletes , comedians and reality-TV stars, but who is the favorite to win the Mirror Ball trophy?
Try Olympic gold medal winner Aly Raisman, one of the members of the U.S. "Fierce Five" gymnastics team at last summer's London Olympics. Las Vegas oddsmaker Johnny Avello pegs Raisman to be the early front-runner, giving her odds of 5 to 1 to win.
"She's just 115 pounds of energy. And if she follows someone like Shawn Johnson. Who knows, maybe she can win it all." Avello told ABC News radio. "Now, it is early, but I think she'll be a contender."
It's a flattering comparison for Raisman: Johnson, a gymnast herself, is a former "Dancing With the Stars" champion.
On the other hand, Avello believes comedian Andy Dick and the star of Bravo's "Vanderpump Rules," Lisa Vanderpump, are the most likely celebrities to be bounced early from the competition. Fortunately for them, the first results show doesn't take place until Tuesday, March 26.
Annie Barrett, a longtime "Dancing With the Stars" recapper for Entertainment Weekly, said Raisman is the contestant to beat, and that Dick will be on a short leash with viewers.
"I really don't think many 'Dancing With the Stars' fans will want to see Andy Dick week after week. I really don't," she told ABCNews Radio. "I think he's pretty offensive. He's been through a lot of recent troubles, and I just wouldn't want it to become a freak show starring Andy Dick."
Vanderpump's"Vander pump Rules" castmate, Stassi Schroeder, a server at Sur, the restaurant featured on the series, told ABC News Radio that Vanderpump thinks she'll be voted out early.
"I thought, she would do amazing, but she keeps talking herself down," Schroeder said. "She's like convincing me that she's not going to do well. She's like, 'I'm only going to last one week, maybe two, if I'm lucky if my fans come out and vote for me.'"
Still, the Sur server doesn't believe the self-deprecating Brit, and says "she'll last a while."
Schroeder's on-again, off-again boyfriend Jason "Jax" Taylor feels the same way. "I think she'll last longer just because of her popularity, regardless if she's good or bad," he told ABC News Radio.
And while neither has seen Vanderpump shake a tail feather inside Sur, they're curious to see what Vanderpump's husband, Ken, thinks of his wife's dance moves.
A reality-TV show star has yet to score top prize on "Dancing."
"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star Rob Kardashian was the closest one, placing second on season 13 with professional partner Cheryl Burke.
Barrett said that recent Super Bowl winner Jacoby Jones of the Baltimore Ravens is a wild card in the competition and could use his charm to his advantage. If Jones has the footwork like fellow NFL players Emmitt Smith and Donald Driver, who each took home the Mirror Ball trophy, he could come out a winner.
Figure skater Dorothy Hamill might also be a top contender to beat. The 1976 Olympic gold medalist could follow in the footsteps of fellow Olympic figure skating-champion and "Dancing With the Stars" season six champ Kristi Yamguchi's footsteps to take home the Mirror Ball trophy. Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno took home the grand prize on season four.

Nvidia Delivers Workstation Graphics Experience to the Network

Nvidia's GRID Visual Computing Appliance is a remote GPU acceleration system that can run complex applications -- like those from Adobe, Autodesk and Dassault -- and display their graphics on a networked client computer. All a user has to do is click on an icon to create a virtual workspace. Users can then have the same graphics experience they would get from an expensive, dedicated workstation.
Nvidia on Wednesday debuted its GRID Visual Computing Appliance, a device that lets businesses deliver ultra-fast GPU performance to any Windows, Linux or Mac client on their network.
The GRID VCA is a GPU-based system that allows complex applications, sending graphics output to the network and enabling it to be displayed on a client machine. It provides remote GPU acceleration, giving the user on the client machine the same rich graphics experience available from an expensive dedicated PC workstation.

How to have an Acne Free Face?

Everyone wants to have a acne free face. But let's face it – not everyone is willing to do the things that are necessary to free your complexion from dirt, oil and inflammation.
This is the number 1 rule! Pimples contain nasty bacteria. If you pop your pimples that bacteria has a chance of getting inside other pores and giving them a place to stay without charging rent, so to speak . Make your pimples pay rent. Another disadvantage of popping pimples is that the skin around the pimple and the pimple itself will become inflammation will cause even more redness and pain.
Your hands ( no matter how many times you scrub them) have oils and dirt on them and are vectors of bacteria. If you're constantly whipping that dirt oil and bacteria back into your face , chances are it's not going to respond too well.
Many doctors recommend that you drink between 9 and 12 cups of water per day (2.2 to 3 liters), depending on whether you are a girl or guy.(Women should drink 9 cups, men should drink 12.) Your skin is an organ in your body, too, and like your kidney, it needs adequate amounts of water to function properly.
  • Cut sweet, sugary drinks like sodas, juices, and smoothies out of your diet. Although the evidence has been disputed for decades, new reports seem to indicate that diets do have a substantial effect on acne, listing sugar as a trigger.Sugars cause a spike in insulin, which in turn stimulates certain pimple producing hormones.
  • Drink less milk. Milk, too, has recently been implicated as an acne-producing agent. Milk stimulates male sex hormones — testosterone and androgen — that, along with insulin, cause nasty pimples.
  • Unsweetened green tea may be helpful, too. Green tea contains tons of antioxidants that help fight free radicals; free radicals affect the cells that may be responsible for signs of aging in the skin. For a healthy alternative to water, brew some tasty and healthy green tea!
Diet can help your complexion look its best if you let it. There's nothing amazing about the following sentence, and you can probably guess what it's going to be: eat more fruits and vegetables, more healthy fats, and experiment with probiotics.
  • People who eat more fruits and veggies, and less milk and sugar, tend to have less acne.Make sure you get 5 to 9 servings of healthy vegetables (especially leafy greens) per day.
  • Eat omega-3 fatty acids. There's fat, and then there's healthy fat. Healthy fats, like omega-3s, help fight inflammation and promote healthy cells.Omega-3s are damaged by oxygen, meaning if you eat foods that are rich in omega-3s, try to eat them raw. In a pinch, baked or broiled is better than boiling or fried. Foods rich in omega-3s include:
    • Fish, particularly salmon, sardines, and herring.
    • Seeds and nuts, particularly flaxseed.
    • Leafy greens, particularly spinach and arugula.
  • Consider probiotics. Probiotics are healthy bacteria found in certain foods, such as kombucha, that promote good digestive health and cut down inflammation. Probiotics such as lactobacillus may improve acne. Look for probiotics at your local grocer's or natural health store.
This one is another no-brainer. The right kind of vitamins will help your body create vibrant, wonderful skin and fight acne to boot. Vitamin-A has been particularly effective in promoting healthy skin. Do not take vitamin-A if you are pregnant.
  • Try evening primrose oil. Evening primrose oil is an anti-inflammatory omega-6 fat, a deficiency of which may cause acne.Take 1000 to 1500mg twice a day.
  • Try zinc citrate. Zinc citrate helps with protein synthesis, wound healing, and normal tissue function. Take 30 mg a day.
  • Try vitamin-E. Critical for skin health, vitamin-E is low in many acne sufferers.Take 400 IU (international units) a day.
Washing your face too much will only make your face dry, causing your face to produce more oils, which unfortunately equals more acne.
  • Moisturize after each time you wash your face. Washing strips the moisture from your skin as it fights the acne-producing bacteria. Ensure that you give your skin the moisture it needs, even if you have naturally oily skin.
    • Use moisturizers that are non-comedogenic. This simply means that they won't clog your pores. You don't want your moisturizer to clog pores right after you've cleaned them.
    • If you do happen to have naturally oily skin, try looking for a gel-based moisturizer. These kinds of moisturizers, as opposed to cream-based moisturizers, won't make your skin feel as clammy and oily.
What is a toner? A toner is a lotion or wash that helps shrink your pores while cleaning grime and dirt away. Be careful about toners with alcohol because they will wipe away the oil from your face. This causes more oil to be produced, along with more acne. Find a toner that is low on alcohol but still effective.

Doctors aren't completely sure why, but they do know that there is a link between stress and skin disorders, specifically stress and acne. Somehow, the cells that produce sebum, which is the stuff that ultimately causes acne, become unregulated when a person experiences a lot of stress.
  • Find creative outlets for your stress. Some people detach from stressful situations by taking a walk. Others pour their stress out onto a canvas by painting. Whatever it is that you do to decompress, do it early and do it often.
  • Try meditation techniques. There are numerous meditation techniques, so find the one(s) that work for you. Some people choose yoga for meditation.

Why is sleep important? A recent study found that psychological stress increases by 14% for every hour of sleep you lose a night. As we learned above, stress can have a deleterious effect on skin, causing acne.
Speaking of sleep, change your pillowcase on a regular basis. Consider wrapping your pillowcase in a towel to absorb oil. You can flip the towel over the next night.
  • Young and elderly people need more sleep than adults. Teenagers should try to get between 10 to 11 hours of sleep per night.
For pretty much any ailment aside from muscle or bone damage, exercise is a panacea. Exercise is a great option for getting your circulation going, and anything that promotes good circulation also helps keep your skin healthy and vibrant-looking.A couple things to remember when you exercise:
  • Always wear sunscreen if exercising outdoors. The benefits of getting your circulation jump started can be outweighed by the disadvantages of sun damage if you're not careful. Wear sunscreen that is light and doesn't irritate or sting your skin.
  • Shower or clean yourself after you exercise. When you sweat, your pores can get clogged with salty, dirty residue that's leftover from your workout. Be sure to wash your body, and especially your face, after you exercise.
