Mariah Carey Joins Wardrobe Malfunction Club

MariahCarey, whose breasts were bulging on last night's American Idol show in a strapless dress, was presenting at the So So Def 20th Anniversary Concert in Atlanta over the weekend in another strapless dress, helping celebrate with pal Jermaine Dupri. She tweeted some backstage photos, along with her best wishes to "JD."
Onstage, at the Saturday night event, she raised her hands up a little bit, and her strapless dress slipped down just enough. And now the photo is making the rounds. As E! put it:It was the emancipation of Mariah's little Mimi.

Seahawks acquire Percy Harvin

The Seattle Seahawks have acquired Minnesota Vikings wide receiver PercyHarvin in exchange for multiple draft picks (including a first rounder) pending a physical, a person with knowledge of the transaction told USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the move had not been announced by either team.
Harvin, entering the final year of his rookie contract, gives Seattle and rising sophomore quarterback Russell Wilson another formidable target opposite Sidney Rice.
Vikings general manager Rick Spielman said last month he wouldn't entertain calls about a trade for Harvin, calling him a "dynamicplaymaker."

Los Angeles area jolted by earthquake

Los Angeles area jolted by earthquake. Holly Lawson was working in a campground kiosk at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, about 60 miles south of the epicenter of Monday's earthquake, when the windows in her tiny kiosk began to rattle.
The rolling rumble lasted about six seconds, she said, and she could see a man outside in his truck as it swayed back and forth.
"The truck was actually physically moving," Lawson said.
A San Diego native, she had already guessed the temblor's magnitude by the time the shaking stopped.
"I'm always concerned about these windows when we feel a quake," she said. "We're surrounded by them."
Lawson, who lives in Anza, near the quake's epicenter, got a call from her teenage son soon after, who reported there had been a loud, sudden crack of sound before the shaking began. Their home, which is a manufactured house, had experienced small cracks after a similar earthquake about a year ago, and Monday she told her son to search for damage to the walls, water lines and propane lines.
Meanwhile, campers in nearby RVs came one by one to ask if that had, indeed, been an earthquake "or if they were just going crazy," said Lawson.
MaryAnn McKennon, a volunteer camp host and Idaho native, said she didn't know what was going on at first.
"My first thought was that we've been having some funky winds, and sometimes they blow pretty hard," she said. Soon she saw the truck outside rocking, too.
"I didn't like it at all," said McKennon, who has worked on and off at the campsite for 6 years. "Do you ever get used to them?"
Although some lifelong Southern Californians didn't bat an eye at Monday's quake, it was a different story for Minnesota transplant Shannon Haber. Even though she's lived here since 1996, Haber said, she definitely has not gotten used to earthquakes.
I was just a little frightened,” Haber said. “There was small shaking and it made me nervous because I’m 23 floors up.”
Haber was working in Los Angeles Unified School District headquarters in Westlake when the earthquake shook at 9:56 a.m. more than 100 miles away in Anza in Riverside County. The shaking was the biggest and longest-lasting she could remember.
It was a slow, swaying motion,” she said. “It sort of felt like I was on a boat, a sort of wavy feeling that lasted 10 to 20 seconds. … No one else reacted around me. They’re all veterans of earthquakes.”
In Anza, about 10 customers had sat down to a late breakfast at a Diner 371 when the quake struck about 20 miles away.
Nothing was broken and no one was hurt, said Diner 371 waitress Michelle Padaron, 30, who was stocking tables with napkins when the quake struck.
After four seconds of shaking, customers quickly returned to their meals of burgers, burritos and eggs, Padaron said.
"Everyone just kind of looked up, then looked at each other, and that was it," Padaron said.

Google'sdoodle is a tribute to Douglas Adams( late author of acclaimed novel “ The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy”). Adams who would have been 61 today, published the “ Hichhiker's Guide” among the five books in 1979. It was originally a radio comedy broadcast on the BBC's Radio 4 in 1978.
It includes references to Adam's work: a towel which according to Adam'sbook is an essential item for space travel, a cup of tea, a staple of his oeuvre and when users click the door in the doodle, Marvin the beloved “ paranoid android” from “Hitchhiker's Guide” appears.

Chicken Marsala

1/4 teaspoon salt, divided

Preparation

Place 3 tablespoons butter in a small glass measuring cup. Microwave butter at MEDIUM-HIGH 45 seconds or until melted. Let stand 1 minute. Skim foam from surface, and discard. (Mixture will appear separated.) Pour melted butter through a fine sieve over a small bowl, and discard the milk solids. Set the clarified butter aside.
Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat; add mushrooms, shallots, and garlic. Cook 3 minutes or until moisture evaporates; remove mushroom mixture from pan. Set aside.
Place each chicken breast half between 2 sheets of heavy-duty plastic wrap; pound to a 1/4-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin. Sprinkle both sides of chicken with 1/8 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Place flour in a shallow dish; dredge chicken breast halves in flour.
Add clarified butter to pan, and place over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 3 minutes on each side or until lightly browned. Remove chicken from pan. Return mushroom mixture to pan; add broth and Marsala, scraping pan to loosen browned bits. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until reduced to 1 cup. Stir in peas; cook 1 minute. Add 1 tablespoon butter, half-and-half, 1/8 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper, stirring until butter melts. Return chicken to pan; cook until thoroughly heated. Serve chicken and sauce over pasta.

Danielle Fishel Poses For Maxim

Danielle Fishel is 31 now and posing on the cover of MaximHello, It'sTopanga” magazine. In the interview, Danielle Fishel talks about the show , which was part of a TGIF block of programming ABC, as she prepares to co-star again with Ben Savage, who played Cory on the show for an updated version of Girls Meets World.
She recalls one story of flying on a plane with Bob Saget, who at the time was starring on Full House.
"One time we were all on a private jet going to Disney World, and my mom, dad, and brother were also with me. We had these four seats facing each other with curtains, so we had our own little private family area. Anyway, we were trying to take a nap, and all of a sudden BobSaget walks down the aisle, rips open our curtain, and shouts, 'Doyou guys have any coke?!' Then he looks my dad in the eye, laughs, and closes the curtain. My mom was like, 'What was that all about?' "
And Fishel, who is engaged, explains how her character came to be called Topanga. Answer: Yes, she was named after the canyon in L.A.
"MichaelJacobs, who created Boy Meets World, says he was driving down the highway when production called and said, 'We need a name for this character!' He happened to be driving past Topanga Canyon, so he said, 'Topanga.' He says that if they had called him two miles later, I would've been named Canoga, which is the next exit."
She's also inspired parents to name their kids Topanga. "I've met five little girls named Topanga, all after me, and I've heard about many more. People will tweet me, and I've had family members who have met other Topangas. It's crazy and it's flattering, but I never know what to say when they're showing me their beautiful little girls. I'm like, 'Really? Topanga!?' "
And did she and Ben Savage ever date in real life?
"No! That rumor was entirely my fault because I once said, on TheTyra Banks Show, that Ben and I went on a date, and that turned into 'Danielle and Ben dated.' We went on one date, when I was about 15, and by the time the dinner was over we realized mutually that we were more like family than lovers."
