New polymer bills frustrates Vending Machine Manufacturers


Industry of vending machine in Canada made some complaints over introduction of new currency. The new $20 plastic bills give some difficulties toCAMA(Canadian Automated Merchandising Association).The spokesman of Canadian Automated Merchandising Association is complaining that, the central bank didn't give operators enough time to reprogram their machine to take the new polymer bill.

 Association president AireKoifman said“We needed months' more time to ready. It's very expensive for us .Our customers feel that we don't give them good service.” while the bank of Canada said, they did all that could help vending machine manufacturers upgrade, including they provided them a sample bills in advance before the public release of the bill. And they added that they give six months notice before the new $20 bill went into circulation last November.
