Well,
that was ridiculously quick. Three-day passes have already sold out!
If you wanna go, you'll have to buy single-daytickets orVIP tix (and probably soon).
If
you plan on attending the grand and sweaty affair that is
Lollapalooza, take note that passes to this year's festival are now
on sale.
Now,
here's the rub: The full lineup won't be announced until April 9, so
if you buy now, you'll just have to assume it'll be worth the cash.
GregKot at the ChicagoTribune managed to confirm a few
of the acts, including Vampire Weekend, Mumford & Sons, Phoenix,
the Killers, the Postal Service and the National.
A
regular three-day pass will set you back $235. If you're looking for
something fancier (like food, shade and nicer restrooms),
VIP/Platinum passes start at $1,050.
Lollapalooza
takes place Aug. 2-4 in Chicago's Grant Park. Check Twitter,
the official
site and/or Facebook
for next month's
lineup announcement.
Although
I've attended Lolla many times, I admit I'll probably stay home this
year and watch the sets online. I always had a great time at the
fest, but I've become too old and grumpy to handle the inevitable
sunburn/torrential downpour that comes with it!
