The
royal family of reality TV has released its annual Christmas card for
2013, and while many Kardashian fans are delighted by the edgy,
high-concept spread, many more appear to be scratching their
heads in confusion.
Shot
by renowned American photographer and director David LaChapelle, the
"card" reads more like a panoramic fashion spread than a
traditional holiday greeting note.
Elements
of Christmas cheer are conspicuously absent, replaced with
gilded statuettes, neon lights, dismantled mannequins, piles of
tabloid magazines, and a large dollar sign.
