The NHL and NHLPA have already signed a Memorandum of Understanding, finally ending after 119 days. After signing of memorandum, the schedule of NHL is already release and it will start on January 19. and it will end on April 27 with 13 games and 26 teams in action.
Here
some brief highlights of the 2013 NHL schedule:
The
Stanley Cup Champion Los Angles Kings raise
their banner this Saturday, January 19 against Chicago Blackhawks at
3 pm ET in an NBC telecast.
The
Eastern Conference Champion New Jersey Devils will raise their lesser
banner on Tuesday , January 22 against the Philadelphia Flyers, whom
they dispatched in five games in an Eastern Conference Semifinal last
year.
Zach
Parise , Ryan Suter and the new look Minnesota Wild launch their new
campaign on Saturday with a home date agaist the Colorado Avalanche.
SidneyCrosby and the Pittsburgh starts where their season ended last April,
at the Philadelphia Flyers, also on January 19.
Hockey Day in America remains on February 17 with the Penguins visiting
Buffalo, the Kings at the Blackhawks, and the Red Wings at Minnesota
headlining the national-televised slate.
