Elite runners from around the world are
at the head of the crowd on Sunday morning as they wait for the Scotiabank
Toronto Waterfront Marathon to begin. The race takes over most of the city's
downtown core as 25,000 runners take part in the annual event that raises money
for more than 180 local charities.

after crossing the finish line in record time for the course. Chimsa ran the
gruelling race in 2:07:05, the fastest time ever for a marathon on Canadian
