Robin Thicke's wife, Paula Patton,
was not at all affected by Miley Cyrus and
her husband's salacious MTV Video Music Awards performance of his hit
"Blurred Lines."
The
37-year-old actress stopped by Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live"
Tuesday to dish to host Andy Cohen her real reaction to their raunchy
display.
"Honestly, they rehearsed for three days beforehand, and I don't know how not to dance with someone having their booty in your … all my friends do it like that," she explained. "And I don't really know what the big deal is."
Patton
even made a joke regarding the viewers' shock. "I didn't know if
they thought Miley was going to sit down and play piano like AliciaKeys. Her song's about taking molly!" she said, referring to the
lyrics from Cyrus' mega hit "We Can't Stop."
Cyrus herself shared the same view as Patton, telling MTV days after the perfromance,"Me and Robin, the whole time said, 'You know we're about to make history right now.'"
"They're overthinking it," the singer said of her critics.
"You're
thinking about it more than I thought about it when I did it. Like, I
didn't even think about it 'cause that's just me."
