Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

For the cake

225g/8oz plain flour
350g/12½oz caster sugar
85g/3oz cocoa powder
1½ tsp baking powder
1½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 free-range eggs
250ml/9fl oz milk
125ml/4½fl oz vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
250ml/9fl oz boiling water

For the chocolate icing

200g/7oz plain chocolate
200ml/7fl oz double cream

Preparation Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Grease and line two 20 cm/8 in sandwich tins.
2. For the cake, place all the ingredients, except the boiling water, into a large mixing bowl. Using a wooden spoon , or electric whisk, beat the mixture until smooth and well combined.
3. Add the boiling water to the mixture, a little at a time, until smooth. (the cake mixture will now be very liquid)
4. Divide the cake batter batter between the sandwich tins and bake in the oven for 25-35 minutes or until the top is firm to the touch and skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.
5. Removes the cake from the oven and allow to cool completely, still in their tins, before icing.
6. For the chocolate icing, heat the chocolate and cream in a saucepan over a low heat until the chocolate melts. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk the mixture until smooth, glossy and thickened. Set aside to cool for 1-2 hours or until thick enough to spread over the cake.
7. To assemble the cake , run a round-bladed knife around the inside of the cake tins to loosen the cakes. Carefully remove the cakes from the tins.
8. Spread a little chocolate icing over the top of one of the chocolate cakes, then carefully top with the other cake.
9. Transfer the cake to a serving plate and ice the cake all over with the chocolate icing, using a palette knife.

Jodi Arias felt 'like a prostitute ' at the hands of her ex-boyfriend

Jodi Arias, 32, is accused of killing Alexander, but claims it was in self-defense.

Though accused murderer Jodi Arias said she sometimes felt "like a prostitute" at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, she admitted today that she often enjoyed their sex life and even suggested sex acts they could try.

ProsecutorJuan Martinez, after a day of aggressive questioning and bickering with Arias, asked her about her own suggestions for her sex life with Alexander, including a phone conversation in which she suggested using sexual lubricant.

The testimony came as Martinez continued his efforts to discredit Arias' testimony on the stand, including her statements that she often succumbed to Alexander's sexual fantasies so she wouldn't hurt his feelings. Martinez has focused on portraying Arias as a liar for much of his direct examination.

Arias is charged with murder for killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander at his home in Mesa, Ariz., in June 2008. She claims she killed him in self defense and that he had been increasingly violent and sexually demanding in the months before the confrontation. She also claimed he was interested in young boys.

The prosecution claims she killed him in a jealous rage. She could face the death penalty if convicted of first degree murder.

With Republican ally, Obama blasts Congress on sequestration

PresidentObama used a backdrop of a shipbuilding plant, factory workers and the local Republican congressman in his latest attempt to increase pressure on Congress to bend on the sequester cuts.

Even as the congressman said later that the President and the GOP deserve equal blame for not advancing viable sequester alternatives. Obama warned that while the nation won't see immediate damages should the sequester cuts take place Friday, they will damage the economic recovery he has carefully shepherded and place the nation's security.

Groundhog Day

Groundhogday tradition began in 1887, Phil(and his ancestors) saw their shadows 99 times, while predicting an early spring only 16 times. Thousands are expected to gather at Gobbler' Knob to watch Phile merge from hi dwelling.

Will spring come early this year?

According to the folklore, the answer hinges on a groundhog and the right weather conditions on February 2.

If a groundhog emerges from its burrow and see it's shadow , then six more weeks of winter weather is on the way. But if it comes out and see no shadow , spring is forecast to come early.

Punxsutawney, the Pennsylvania town that is home to one of the most famous weather-predicting groundhogs, Punxsutawney Phil, has been carrying on the tradition of Groundhog Day since the 1800s,according to The Punxsutawney Groundhog Club.

Guacamole

Ingredients:

3 avocado (halved , seeded and peeled)

1 lime (juiced)

½ teaspoon kosher salt

½ teaspoon cayenne

½ medium union (diced)

½ jalapeno pepper (seeded and minced)

2 Tomatoes (seeded and diced)

1 tablespoon cilantro (chopped)

1 clove garlic (minced)

Directions:

In a large bowl place the avocado pulp and lime juice, toss to coat. Drain and reserve the lime juice after all the avocados have been coated. Using a potato masher add the salt, cumin and cayenne and mash. Then fold in the onions , jalapeno, tomatoes , cilantro and garlic. Add 1 teaspoon of reserved lime juice. Let set at room temperature for 1 hour and then serve.

Simple steps of IOS Jailbreak

The simple jailbreak method has been release as of today for IOS 6, including Iphone5. If you've been waiting to jailbreak your Iphone5, stop waiting anymore because a new tool called EVASION was released.

This new tool is very simple to use. But some reminder before you start to jailbreak your Iphone make sure you have a current backup of your IOS device. If you have a passcode on your IOS device , the evation team suggests disabling it before you being the jailbreak process; apparently it can cause issues.

Here are the steps:

1. Download EVASION 1.0 on your computer. There are version for MAC , WINDOWS and LINUX users.
2. Rune the program. OS X users may have to bypass the gatekeeper feature in OS X 10.8 by clicking the application icon and select open.
3. Connect your IOS device to your computer, and then click the jailbreak button. Your device will light up , restart and do all sort things during the process. Just leave it plugged in and wait for the next instruction in the application window.
4. After a few minutes and a reboot or two, you'll be asked to unlock it and tap the “jailbreak” icon. As the instruction say , only tap it once. Your IOS device screen will flash and then the evasion application on your computer will continue.
5. After a few seconds later, you'll see a notification that the jailbreak has finished. While that may be true for the application, your IOS will reboot a few times while the process finishes. You'll know it's truly finished when you see your lock screen and wallpaper. You should the have a Cydia icon on your home screen, confirming that the jailbreak was successful.
