 He was trying to get me to walk down the stairs - the stairs were barely there. It was just so gruesome, the bodies and blood," Shamsia Quraishi, 30, said.

The front of the bus was gone, five of its passengers and the driver were killed. A man who'd been hurled from the bus face down didn't move again. A neon-clad cyclist who'd put his bike on the rack was beneath the bus. People sat sobbing on the grass in the aftermath of the crash just before 9 a.m.

January Johes Topless in new film 'Sweetwater'

The world is seeing a new side of January Jones, best known for playing wife Betty Draper on AMC’s “Mad Men,” after the actress starred in a movie that required her to go topless.

Photos have surfaced of the 35-year-old Jones topless (WARNING:photos are NSFW) for her new role in the film “Sweetwater,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

 However, now that the film, billed on IMDB.com as “Sweet Vengeance,” has debuted on DVD in the UK, stills from the movie emerged online of a half-naked Jones. The Daily Mail also has the trailer and other movie stills, showing Jones with her new red-colored hair and toting around a gun. 

The film is a Western thriller set in the 1800s. It follows Sarah (Jones), an ex-prostitute who has recently become a widow, as she gets her revenge “on the rugged plains of the New Mexico Territory.” 

That’s when she gets into a battle with SheriffJackson, played by Ed Harris, and a prophet, played by Jason Isaacs, who have wronged her and her deceased husband.

So far, there is no U.S. release date so it is unclear whether or not the film will make it to theaters. However, “Sweet Vengeance” is set to premiere in France in early October. see more...

Lauren Iungerich Gets put Pilot Commitment at NBC

Awkward creator Lauren Iungerich is having a banner development season following her three-year stint at MTV. After landing a pilot production commitment at ABC for single-camera comedy Damaged Goods, Iungerichhas nabbed a put pilot commitment at NBC for another single-camera project, Bitch Off The ‘Ol Block, for which she has reunited with former MTV boss David Janollari, now a Universal TV-based producer. 

Written by Iungerich, Bitch centers on a young professional woman whose life is turned upside down when her  biological daughter, who turns out to be a younger smart-ass version of herself,  moves in with her and her roommates. ‘It takes a village’ takes on a whole new meaning in this ensemble comedy about a group of friends who become an unorthodox surrogate family. Loosely inspired by the upcoming birth of Iungerich’s first daughter as she imagines what kind of child she might raise.

Bitch deals with the same themes of complicated and hilarious mother/daughter relationships and complicated romantic triangles that Iungerich successfully tackled in Awkward, but in a more adult comedy. Iungerich and Janollari will executive produce for Universal TV and David Janollari Entertainment.

As programming chief of MTV, Janollari brought Iungerich to the network and developed her hit comedy series Awkward as well as followup pilot Hot Mess. Iungerich, repped by WME and Robyn Meisinger at Madhouse Entertainment, ran Awkward for the first three seasons but exited the series as well as Hot Messearlier this year. see more...

Clint Eastwood's son Scott Eastwood poses shirtless in sexy magazine shoot

The famed actor's offspring looks to be following in his father's footsteps in a spread for the October issue of Town & Country.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Clint Eastwood's 27-year-old son, Scott, is a spitting image of the "Dirty Harry" actor from his younger years, but looks are not the only thing the two have in common.

The rising star is featured in the October issue of Town & Country in a series of nautical-themed smouldering snap shots where he sizzles for the camera as he dishes about his acting career.

"People assumed that I would have everything handed to me, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I was on my own just doing the grind," he told the mag about following in the footsteps of his famous father.

"I want to be a man's man - not a kid actor or a glitzy pop star but a no-bulls--t leading man," he revealed.

As far as what kind of industry advice Clint has passed on to him, he said, "As a director and an actor, my dad's motto is 'Tell the truth.' The only way of doing that is having life experiences and being a storyteller."

The handsome hunk can be seen in the upcoming movies "The PerfectWave," "Dawn Patrol" and "Fury" opposite Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf.

When Scott isn't working, he spends his time surfing and fishing in San Diego, where he currently resides and is co-owner of Saddle Bar in Solana Beach.

"I'm not a club kind of guy," he told Town & Country.

Google Drive update brings convinient shortcuts and complete redesign

Google Drive may be simple and convenient for all of us cloud geeks, but it was already starting to look a bit outdated. A new update has hit the Google Play Store and it comes with a few new design elements andimprovements worth mentioning.

Many of us may ignore the update at first, mistaking it for one of the usual bug-fixing update we get daily. 

The very What’s New description even makes it seem like that, simply stating: “Bug fixes and other improvements”. There is much more than that to see, though!

The app’s design has been improved by adopting the Holo Light design cues we have seen in the latest Google apps. With this lighter, cleaner look, Google can bring different adaptations to the apps without making it seem too cluttered.

Google has added 3 options to the bottom of the screen, making it much easier and faster to access certain actions. Think of them as shortcuts. Now one can easily access the Upload, Create and Scan functions. All without tapping extra buttons and menus.

There are other improvements baked into Drive, including editing upgrades and the such. The main design elements are definitely the most important, though. I happen to love the new features and design. Everything looks clean and simple, yet much more functional.

Only problem I found is that some of my devices got the new bar while others didn’t. All my devices were updated to the same version number, yet my Galaxy Note 2 is not showing the bar with the shortcuts. It did get the new design and colors, though. see more..

Aleksandra Wozniak upset at Habs

Tennis player Aleksandra Wozniak was apparently not pleased when the Montreal Canadiens included centre Louis Leblanc among their first cuts from training camp.

The former world No. 21 from Blainville, Que., sent messages on Twitter in French and in English blasting the Canadiens for the move on Tuesday. The messages have since been deleted.

One message read: “He did everything the CH organization told him to do and what. . . get cut this early? Oh and the reason. . . worst excuse ever! This is wrong”

A tweet in French read: “A real joke with the worst excuse for cutting someone. Truly not a fair shot.”

She did not say what reason was given for cutting Leblanc, who was drafted 18th overall by Montreal in 2009.

Various media reports described 23-year-old Leblanc as 26-year-old Wozniak’s boyfriend.

Plagued  by injuries in recent seasons, Wozniak has dropped to 377th in WTA rankings.

Leblanc was among 14 players cut after a 6-3 pre-season loss to Boston on Monday night. see more...
